About Rosati's Pizza of Bloomington/Normal
About Rosati's Pizza of Bloomington/Normal
Rosati's Pizza is one of the oldest surviving family pizza restaurant businesses in the U.S. In 1927, Saverio Rosati opened a restaurant downtown Chicago that became a favorite watering hole for the old Chicago society and Windy City politicians. On any given night you might spot Jack Haley, the "Tin Man" in The Wizard of Oz, enjoying a hearty helping of homemade Italian specialties or notorious gangster, Al Capone and his entourage sharing a heaping dish of pasta with his so called "nemesis", Eliot Ness. In 1964 when Saverio retired, his sons Dick, Ron and Al opened the first Rosati's Pizza in the Illinois suburb of Mount Prospect. By 1978, ten Rosati family members owned carryout pizzerias.

Fantastic pizza. We had carey out. Pricey - almost $50 for 16 inch veggie extra cheese - but it fed my wife and me dinner and lunch. Worth it.

We go to a LOT of pizza restaurants, but I have to say that this is honestly the best tasting pizza weβve tried yet! We tried the SOB/BBQ Special, and it was amazing. The sauce was unique, and you really have to try it to believe how good it is. Mike, who took our order took excellent care of us and made sure we had a pleasant experience. The customer service here is truly excellent, and we strongly recommend coming here. While they do offer delivery and pick up, we really recommend coming inside for a great dining experience.

I have been ordering from Rosatis since it opened here in normal Illinois. Iβm from the Chicago area so I appreciate a pizza chain originating from Chicago. It is the only pizza place I order from since before 2013. Delivery is quick and the delivery drivers are always incredibly polite However, the last few orders Iβve had to deal with the manager. I donβt call to complain much and I have never encountered him until they relocated to Eastland. He is rude, He argues with you before you can even explain what happened, and frequently interrupts mid sentence. When I order the calzone 50% of the time itβs correct. I donβt want red sauce in the calzone. Over the years, Iβve tried several different ways to communicate this, Including adding comments; βno marinara in the calzone, sauce on the sideβ, βjust meat and cheese, no sauceβ. When I do this, my order is typically correct, but not always . The last time I ordered this a manager calls me to ask me about the marinara comment and says βmarinara does not come in the calzone and thereβs no need for you to add the commentβ. I thought it was odd to get a call just to tell me that rather than making the calzone as instructed. So whe

I have always enjoyed Rosatis, one of my favorites as a kid! Recently went to their new location to grab a few slices. Their slices are huge and youβre not going to have to worry about being hungry afterwards. The inside I was hoping thereβd be a little bit more to it, but they are a newer location and could still be figuring out the layout of things! Regardless, the staff member I spoke to was kind and friendly and I was in and out within a few minutes! Oh, and the pizza was just as good as I remembered it!

Great service!! We went to the Fuel game, (from Indiana), and we stopped here. I wish I would've known how much food we were getting!! Lol. I had pizza for days after!! The pizza was great!! I love how much cheese there was. AND the guy who waited on us was phenomenal!!
